This bedroom is the result of a laptop fire in Middle River, MD in Baltimore County. Notice the concentration of soot in this room? This soot penetrated the building material down to the studs, therefore it all had to be removed for it to be rid of smoke, and safely restored to pre-fire conditions. In fact, each room in the house was effected by the smoke and every room needed to be cleaned from top to bottom.
